01Information We Collect
This policy covers all of our games. Some are single-player only, and some offer online multiplayer and voice chat. The information we handle depends on the game you play and the features you use, so not every game collects every item below.
Information from the Meta Horizon platform
Depending on the game, and only with the permissions Meta has approved for that app, we may receive from Meta:
- Your Meta user ID — an identifier for the account signed in on the headset, used to recognise the current player and confirm that you own the app.
- Your Meta username (display name) — shown on your in-game profile and, in multiplayer games, to other players.
- Your Meta profile picture — shown on your in-game profile.
We do not receive your email address, password, real name, friends list, or payment details from Meta.
Information from your device
- Microphone audio — only in games with voice chat, only during an online match, and only after you grant the headset's microphone permission. See Voice Chat & Multiplayer.
- Gameplay data — such as headset and controller movement and your in-game actions, used in real time to run the game and, in multiplayer games, to show your actions to other players.
- Technical data — such as your IP address, device model, and operating system version, which are processed by our network service providers when you use online features.
Information stored on your device
- Local game data — such as your progress, statistics, settings (for example music and sound volume), and, where a game shows it, your display name and a copy of your profile picture. This is kept on your headset and is not uploaded to us.
Information you provide to us
- Communications — messages, feedback, or bug reports you send us by email or through our community channels.
- Purchase information — if a game offers purchases, they are processed by the Meta Horizon Store. We receive confirmation of what you are entitled to, never your card or payment details.
02How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above only to:
- Show your username and profile picture on your in-game profile.
- In multiplayer games, run online matches, including showing your name to other players and connecting you through our network service providers.
- In games with voice chat, provide real-time voice chat between players in the same match.
- Save your progress, statistics, and settings on your device.
- Respond to your messages and support requests.
- Detect and fix technical problems, and keep our Services secure.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use your information for advertising, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell your information.
03Voice Chat & Multiplayer
This section applies only to games that offer online multiplayer or voice chat. Single-player games do not use these features.
Multiplayer
Online matches are connected through Unity Relay. To play online, the game signs in anonymously with Unity Authentication, which creates a random player ID that we do not link to your Meta account. Your username, your in-game actions and score, and your match status are sent to the other players in the match.
Voice chat
- Voice chat is provided by Unity Vivox and is available only during an online match.
- Your voice is streamed live to the other players in your match. It is not recorded, stored, or transcribed by us.
- Your username is used as your name in the voice channel.
- You can mute your microphone at any time with the in-game microphone button, or deny or revoke the microphone permission in your headset settings. The game still works without it.
Please be respectful. Other players can hear what you say, and we cannot control what other players say to you. You can leave a match at any time.
04Disclosure & Service Providers
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Unity Technologies (United States) — in games with online features, provides Unity Gaming Services: Relay (multiplayer connections), Authentication (anonymous sign-in), and Vivox (voice chat). Unity processes your username, anonymous player ID, IP address, gameplay network data, and voice audio only to provide these services. See the Unity Privacy Policy.
- Meta Platforms — the Meta Horizon platform and store through which our games are distributed. Meta's handling of your account is covered by the Meta Privacy Policy.
- Other players — in multiplayer games, other players in your match see your username and your gameplay, and hear your voice if voice chat is on.
- Legal requirements — when required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
- With your consent — when you have explicitly agreed to the sharing.
05International Transfers
MetaSpark Studio is based in Pakistan. Our service provider Unity Technologies is based in the United States and may process data on servers in other countries, including servers close to you so that matches and voice chat have low delay. By using online features, you understand that your information may be processed outside your country of residence.
06Data Retention
- On your device — local game data such as progress, statistics, settings, and any cached profile picture stays on your headset until you uninstall the game or clear its data.
- Voice chat — voice is streamed live and is not kept by us.
- Multiplayer data — on our side, match data exists only while the match is running. Unity keeps technical service data according to its own retention policy.
- Emails and support requests — kept as long as needed to help you, and then deleted.
07Your Rights & Choices
All users, regardless of their geographic location, have the right to request deletion of their personal information at any time, free of charge. You may also request access to, correction of, or a copy of your personal information, or object to or restrict certain processing, by contacting us as described below.
How to delete your data
This right to deletion is available to every user of our games, wherever you live.
- Local data — uninstall the game, or clear its storage in your headset settings. This deletes all game data stored on your headset.
- Data held by us or our service providers — email us at maryam.sufwan.horizon@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request" and the name of the game. We will delete what we hold, ask Unity to delete associated service data where applicable, and confirm within 30 days.
- Meta permissions — you can review and remove an app's access to your Meta account data in your Meta account settings.
- Microphone — you can deny or revoke microphone access in your headset settings at any time.
08Security Of Your Information
We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, and we collect only the information our games need. In games with online features, connections go through Unity's encrypted services. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
09Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at maryam.sufwan.horizon@gmail.com.
10Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add a new feature to a game. Any changes will take effect when the revised policy is posted on this page, along with an updated "Last updated" date above. If a change significantly affects how we use your information, we will make it clear in the game or on its store page. Your continued use of our Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
